Where information lives and what you choose to share

Keep your business context and working instructions in a workspace you control. Information connected with Whiia sits in four distinct places: your private setup, the website, the AI application and services you choose, and optional recovery you own.

1. Your private harness workspace

Your saved business information, working methods, partner context and records live in your private harness — a setup you control locally. The website helps you get started and manage your account; it is not intended to become a hosted copy of your day-to-day business records.

You choose what your harness can access, and you can correct or remove what it has saved. The website's own routes cover your account, plan, delivery and onboarding: they do not take your day-to-day task output.

2. The Whiia website

The website holds your account and plan records: the email address you verify, your name and timezone if you give them, which plan you hold, which releases you acquired, and your purchase records. Purchase records reference the payment provider's order, not your card details.

To prepare your starting profile, the site works from the business details you give it — a name and a website — and may consult public information about your business. The result is returned to your browser for you to review before you use it. The site keeps a copy of that starting profile — the crawled draft and the version you confirmed — with a record of when it was prepared. The copy stays until you delete your account; deleting the account removes it along with your setup links and delivery records. The copy in your harness is the one your work uses.

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email, plus a session cookie that expires after seven days. The app also keeps its session state in your browser's local storage on your own device.

3. Your AI application, models and work services

The AI application, model providers and work services you choose may process information used for your tasks. What is shared depends on those services, their settings and the access you authorize.

Private does not mean that no other service ever handles information. The AI application, models and connections you pick process what your tasks require, under their own terms — that is why the choice of application and providers stays with you.

4. Optional version history and file backup

Your approved harness and context files can be kept in a Git repository for version history. Two options exist. A repository your Whiia account holds for you: created and maintained by Whiia on your behalf as a private repository, removed when your account closes. Or a repository you own: you connect it from your own machine, and Whiia is neither granted access to it nor stores a token for it.

Version history is not a complete backup. Keep documents, attachments and media in a separate backup system suited to those files, and keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
